A resin composition for a recording material and a photosensitive transfer material capable of effectively suppressing the occurrence of display defects even at a high concentration of a thin film. A resin composition for a recording material, comprising at least one resin and a precursor thereof and at least one metal particle having a silver-tin alloy part, wherein the voltage of the metal particle having the silver-tin alloy part is obtained. A recording material resin composition having a retention of 70% or more, and a photosensitive transfer material comprising a photosensitive resin layer formed of the recording material resin composition.
