abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing a flame-retardant resin molded article containing plant fibers as a filler, and the production of the resin molded article capable of stably obtaining a resin molded article having the desired characteristics. It is an object to provide a method. The present invention includes a first step of making a plant fiber contain at least one of boric acid and a boric acid compound and flame-treating the plant fiber, and a flame-retardant treatment obtained in the first step. A second step of directly feeding each of the plant fiber, the matrix resin, and the metal hydroxide into an injection molding machine, the plant fiber flame-retardant treated with the injection molding machine, and the matrix resin.
