Disclosed is a disposable diaper in which excreted stool is less likely to come into direct contact with a wearer's skin and can effectively prevent urine return and stool return. An absorber 22 is arranged so as to cover the upper surface of the absorber 22, and is arranged so as to cover at least a part of the top sheet 18 made of a liquid-permeable material and the lower surface of the absorber 22. A disposable diaper provided with a back sheet 20 made of a liquid-impermeable material, which is disposed on the top sheet 18 and has an opening (stool passing opening 28a) through which feces can pass.
