abstract An electromagnetic interference suppressor having high surface resistivity and flame retardancy, and improved dispersibility and rust prevention of a soft magnetic metal, an electromagnetic interference suppressing method using the same, and an RFID device are provided. An electromagnetic interference suppressor 61 containing a soft magnetic metal and a binder and further containing a higher fatty acid metal salt. The higher fatty acid metal salt is preferably a metal stearate, and the metal stearate is preferably zinc stearate. This is an electromagnetic interference suppression method in which an electromagnetic interference suppressor 61 is disposed in or around an electronic device to suppress electromagnetic interference caused by interference of unnecessary electromagnetic waves.
