abstract The present invention provides a carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material useful as a structural material having excellent properties such as high mechanical strength, high elasticity, high heat resistance, good heat conductivity and good conductivity. A carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material obtained by carbonizing a mixture of a condensed polycyclic polynuclear aromatic resin and a carbon nanotube into a carbon fiber. This carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material has a strength of 500 MPa or more according to a three-point bending test specified in JIS R7222. [Selection figure] None.
