abstract |
The present invention provides a novel single-site palladium catalyst complex exhibiting catalytic activity that facilitates a polymerization reaction and / or a Heck coupling reaction. A catalyst structure comprising a single palladium metal center and a substituted tri-arylphosphine ligand. In particular, the substituent bonded to the aryl group is preferably a group selected from —SO 3 and —SO 2 NR 2.
