titleOfInvention Method for preparing Labisia pumila extract
abstract The present invention provides a method for preparing an extract from the plant Labisia pumila used as the traditional Malay medicine Kacip fatimah, and a method for obtaining chemical profiling to obtain the extract with good reproducibility. . The dried Labisia pumila is heated and extracted with water as a raw material, and concentrated and dried by spray drying to produce an extract. The extract is isolated from the extract by reversed-phase liquid chromatography and instrumentally analyzed to determine the structure of a marker compound for chemical profiling.
