titleOfInvention | Grommet waterproofing method and wire harness |
abstract | A grommet waterproofing method capable of easily waterproofing a bundle of wires and a grommet forming a wire harness with simple equipment, and a wire harness provided with the grommet subjected to the waterproofing method. A wire harness includes a wire bundle and a grommet. The grommet 20 is filled with a water stop agent 60 through the wire bundle 2 inside. The middle of the wire bundle 2 is bent in one direction. The place where the electric wire bundle 2 is attached is positioned in the grommet 20. The water stop agent 60 is injected into the grommet 20 while holding the wire bundle 2 almost straight. When the water-stopping agent 60 is at least temporarily dried, the holding of the wire bundle 2 is released. [Selection] Figure 6 |
