The present invention provides a bipolar plate for a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell, which can reduce weight and performance, reduce manufacturing costs, simplify manufacturing processes and handling, and reduce gas permeability. An adhesive layer is formed on a resin substrate having conductivity, formed by molding a polymer composite material in which a thermoplastic resin and a conductive material are mixed, and a side separated from the resin substrate. The conductive metal layer 13 including the current collecting layer 12 was formed. A mixture of a polycarbonate resin and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer resin is used as the thermoplastic resin, a carbon material is used as the conductive material, and a Pd or Pd—Ni alloy is used as the current collecting layer.
