abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane elastic fiber which has a good spinnability, which does not easily cause clogging and yarn breakage at the time of spinning, and which has good unwinding property without causing sticking between yarns in a wound body. In particular, even when a plurality of filaments are coalesced to produce a coalesced polyurethane fiber yarn and wound up, the unwinding property is good and the filaments are satisfactorily bonded within the coalesced yarn. A polyurethane elastic fiber that is less likely to cause trouble is provided. SOLUTION: Silicone oil, modified silicone, and metal soap are contained in 0.1 to 10% by weight, 0.1 to 10% by weight, and 0.05 to 5.0% by weight, respectively, with respect to polyurethane fibers. In addition, the polyurethane-based elastic fiber is produced by dry spinning after adding a modifier obtained by mixing silicone oil, modified silicone, and metal soap to the polyurethane spinning dope.
