abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design of a tire by improving the gas barrier property of an air permeation preventive layer of a pneumatic tire and coloring the air permeation preventive layer in a temperature-sensitive color changing manner. SOLUTION: (1) 100 parts by weight of a rubber component consisting of (i) halogenated butyl rubber 70 to 100% by weight and (ii) at least one kind selected from natural rubber, polybutadiene rubber and styrene butadiene rubber. And (2) rubber containing 1 to 15 parts by weight of temperature-sensitive color-changing short fibers obtained by melt spinning a vinylidene chloride resin composition containing a temperature-sensitive color-changing granular material encapsulated in a microcapsule.
