abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent deterioration due to exposure of a sound control device while sufficiently exhibiting a road noise reduction effect, and to maintain the durability of the sound control device. An assembly 1 of a pneumatic tire and a rim includes a band-shaped sound damping tool 4 that is fixed in a tire lumen i and extends in the tire circumferential direction. The sound control tool 4 is composed of a sound control body 10 made of a sponge material having a volume of 0.4 to 20% of the total volume of the tire lumen i, and a light-shielding resin film 12 and is provided with the above-described control through an adhesive.
