titleOfInvention Method for treating strongly basic anion exchange resin and strongly basic anion exchange resin obtained thereby
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of reducing odor substances such as TMA eluted from a strongly basic anion exchange resin more easily and in a short time and an anion exchange resin obtained thereby. In a method for treating a strongly basic anion exchange resin in a regenerated form, the strongly basic anion exchange resin is heat-treated in a mixed state with an H-form cation exchange resin to reduce the eluate. The strongly basic anion exchange resin is an I-type resin, and the cation exchange resin to be mixed is preferably a highly crosslinked uniform particle size cation exchange resin. The strongly basic anion exchange resin can be circulated and washed in a mixed state with an H-form cation exchange resin, and is further obtained as a strongly basic anion exchange resin obtained by such treatment.
