And A method for synthesizing β-ketol by a one-step aldol reaction catalyzed by DERA is provided. In addition, in the amino acid sequence of wild-type DERA, an amino acid corresponding to one or more amino acids selected from the group consisting of amino acids at positions 73, 76, 139, 238, and 239 of an amino acid sequence having a specific sequence A modified DERA comprising an amino acid sequence substituted with is provided.
