PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite hydrogen storage material capable of releasing a relatively large amount of hydrogen at a relatively low temperature and a hydrogen generation and storage device using the same. A composite hydrogen storage material obtained by mechanically pulverizing and mixing NH 3 BH 3 and a metal hydride. Moreover, the hydrogen production | generation storage apparatuses 10 and 20 provided with the composite hydrogen storage material 12 which concerns on this invention, and the containers 14 and 24 which accommodate a composite hydrogen storage material.
