To provide a solid-state imaging device housing case in which metal parts (islands, lead terminals, etc.) to be insert-molded are less warped and deformed, a manufacturing method thereof, and a solid-state imaging device including the same. A rectangular resin bottom plate and a resin side wall substantially suspended from the periphery of the rectangular resin bottom plate are integrally formed, and a metal lead terminal and a metal island for fixing a solid-state image sensor are inserted. A resin hollow case whose opening can be closed by a transparent plate, the case being obtained by integrally injection molding a thermoplastic resin or a composition thereof, and an injection molding gate in the short direction of the case. A recess formed by a resin flow control projection provided on the one side wall portion and for changing the flow direction of the resin injected or injected from the gate or the composition thereof is provided in the one side wall portion.
