abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate material which is suitable for exposure with a laser beam having an emission wavelength in the range of 350 nm to 450 nm and has excellent sensitivity and halftone dot reproducibility, and the photosensitive lithographic printing plate material. An object of the present invention is to provide a photosensitive composition and a method for forming an image of a lithographic printing plate material. SOLUTION: (A) Addition-polymerizable ethylenic double bond-containing compound, (B) a photopolymerization initiator, (C) a polymer binder, and (D) a dye having an absorption maximum wavelength of 350 to 450 nm. The photosensitive composition contains (E) an ethylenic double bond-containing compound capable of addition polymerization (E) a plurality of alcoholic hydroxyl groups, a plurality of double bonds and a plurality of compounds.
