titleOfInvention | Optical film and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film that can be used for a protective film for a polarizing plate, a retardation film, a viewing angle widening film, etc. used in a liquid crystal display device (LCD) etc., by a melt casting method that does not use a solvent during film formation. Provided are an optical film that is small in dimensional change even under various conditions suitable for a retardation film and that does not cause density unevenness called a frame failure, and a method for manufacturing the same. An optical film includes two or more resin layers containing a cellulose ester resin, and at least one of the resin layers contains inorganic fine particles (mat agent) having a water content of 1% by weight or less. ing. Two or more resin layers are coextruded from a casting die by a melt casting film forming method, cooled and solidified to form a laminated web, and the laminated web is stretched and wound. At least one of the two or more resin layers containing a cellulose ester resin contains inorganic fine particles having a water content of 1% by weight or less. [Selection] Figure 1 |
