abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change color reversibly with a change in temperature and to have a color memory property that is not discolored or discolored under normal use by a diarylethene photochromic compound. Disclosed are a color-changing material having a unique color-changing function that can be colored, a color-changing liquid composition and a color-changing molding resin composition using the same. SOLUTION: A diarylethene photochromic compound, (a) an electron-donating color-forming organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound, and (c) a reaction medium for controlling the color reaction of (a) and (b) above. A color-changing material comprising a reversible thermochromic composition comprising a homogeneous solution, a color-changing liquid composition comprising the color-changing material and a vehicle, and a color-changing molding comprising the color-changing material and a molding resin.
