The present invention provides a high-performance vacuum heat insulating material capable of achieving both bendability, shape retention and heat insulation. A core material 13 in which a net-like or fibrous deformation holding member 33 made of an organic substance is sandwiched between glass wool having an average fiber diameter of 3 to 5 μm and containing no binder, and a getter agent in an outer jacket material 31. The vacuum heat insulating material 30 is formed by vacuum sealing. The vacuum heat insulating material 30 is inserted into a refrigerator box, and high-fluidity rigid polyurethane foam 6 made of cyclopentane and a water-mixed foaming agent is foam-filled.
