titleOfInvention Ceramic lamp
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crack from occurring in a junction region between a light emitting portion and a thin tube at an early stage of discharge. Furthermore, it aims at preventing that a color change occurs during lighting. A light emitting tube comprising a ceramic thin tube having an electrode mount inserted therein and a ceramic light emitting portion in which the thin tube is bonded to both ends, wherein the thin tube and the light emitting portion have a bonding region. The diameter of the electrode mount in the joining region is smaller than the diameter of the electrode mount on the arc tube end side. [Selection] Figure 1
