titleOfInvention A method for recycling lactic acid-based biodegradable plastics.
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate highly purified lactic acid from lactic acid-based biodegradable plastic waste without impairing the quality due to mixing of impurities. A hydrolysis treatment and a supercritical extraction treatment are performed. In the hydrolysis treatment, an object to be treated containing biodegradable plastic made from lactic acid is reacted with water under a saturated water vapor pressure of about 140 ° C to hydrolyze the biodegradable plastic to produce an aqueous lactic acid solution. In the supercritical extraction treatment, the aqueous lactic acid solution obtained by the hydrolysis treatment is kept in a supercritical environment of carbon dioxide at a temperature of about 60 ° C. and a pressure of about 8 MP, and the supercritical carbon dioxide obtained by melting the aqueous lactic acid solution is used. In this process, the fluid is taken out and returned to room temperature to produce purified lactic acid separated from carbon dioxide. [Selection] Figure 4
