titleOfInvention | Polyester thick yarn |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: There is no increase in filtration pressure during molding of a copolyester composition comprising an isophthalic acid component containing a metal sulfonate group and a polyoxyalkylene glycol component as a copolymerization component, and the yarn forming property and film forming property are good. A thick yarn having a natural tone and excellent span feeling and soft texture is provided from a polyester composition excellent in polymer color tone and dyeability as compared with conventional products. An isophthalic acid component containing 0.1 to 10 mol% of a metal sulfonate group and a polyoxyalkylene glycol component having a weight average molecular weight of 400 to 6000 of 0.1 to 5.0 wt% are copolymerized. The titanium oxide particles are contained in an amount of 0.1 to 7.0% by weight and do not contain an antimony compound, or the content in terms of antimony atoms with respect to the polyester is 30 ppm or less. A polyester fine yarn characterized in that σ is 35 × 10 −12 m 2 or more, where σ is a standard deviation of a single yarn cross-sectional area of an arbitrary fiber cross section.
