To provide a lubricating oil composition having excellent lubricity from a low temperature region to a high temperature region and having a small evaporation loss. The base oil is an ester composed of a dibasic acid having 9 to 12 carbon atoms and a primary alcohol having 8 to 13 carbon atoms having a side chain, and has an SP value (solubility index) of 9.2. As mentioned above, 0.5-10 mass% of (meth) acrylic-acid alkyl polymers whose mass mean molecular weight is 1 * 10 < 5 > -1 * 10 < 6 > are contained on the basis of the composition whole quantity, and 100 degreeC viscosity is 9.3-11. .5 mm 2 / s.
