abstract Provided is a wireless transmission device capable of communicating information other than information in an internal memory. An RFID tag is configured to include an encoding circuit and to quantify the reception sensitivity of a radio wave transmitted from an external transmission / reception device and return it to the external transmission / reception device. Further, a communication error detection circuit 510 may be provided instead of the encoding circuit. Therefore, the external transmission / reception device can determine the distance between the external transmission / reception device and the RFID tag based on the received reception sensitivity information.
