titleOfInvention | Metal halide lamp and lighting device |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED To improve startability of a lamp. A metal halide lamp according to the present invention has a light-transmitting hermetic container having an arc tube portion 11 forming a discharge space 14 and a pair of sealing portions 121 and 122 formed at both ends of the arc tube portion 11. 1, an essentially mercury-free discharge medium 15 in which a metal halide and a rare gas are sealed in a discharge space 14, metal foils 21 and 22 sealed in sealing portions 121 and 122, and a base end side Is connected to the metal foils 21 and 22, and the front end side includes a pair of electrodes 31 and 32 arranged to face each other in the discharge space 14, and the arc tube portion 11 is connected to the outer surface of the arc tube portion 11. The conductive film 5 is formed substantially continuously from the boundary between the pair of sealing portions 121 and 122 to the other boundary. [Selection] Figure 1 |
