titleOfInvention Heating control device for gas sensor of internal combustion engine
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gas sensor from being damaged while quickly raising a gas sensor provided in an exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine to an activation temperature. An ECU 13 that performs energization control of a heater of a gas sensor 151 is preheated to be energized with low power that does not reach the activation temperature prior to activation energization control in which the gas sensor 15 is energized with power that can raise the temperature to the activation temperature. Energization control is executed. As a result, even when liquid droplets exist in the sensor body of the gas sensor 151, the water is slowly evaporated without causing boiling. [Selection] Figure 1
