abstract An electrode sheet capable of efficiently producing a battery, and having excellent adhesion to an electrode sheet as well as excellent ion permeability and electrical insulation after the battery is produced. The present invention provides a battery separator that functions as a separator assembly and provides a battery with high performance and excellent safety, and a method for producing such a battery separator. Furthermore, the manufacturing method of the battery using such a battery separator is provided. SOLUTION: A radically copolymerized monomer having a functional group capable of reacting with a polyfunctional cross-linking agent, a polyfunctional monomer, and another radical polymerizable monomer having a copolymerization property thereof, and having a crosslinked structure; A pair of films 1 made of a reactive polymer having a functional group that can be cross-linked by reacting with the polyfunctional crosslinking agent are separated from each other, and the insulating fine particles 2 form a single layer between the pair of films.
