abstract | 【Task】 It is an object of the present invention to provide a porous body made of PTFE resin that does not cause cracks and sink marks and a method for producing the same. [Solution] The PTFE resin porous body of the present invention is formed by using a solvent that dissolves the pore forming material and does not dissolve the PTFE resin after molding the PTFE resin containing the pore forming material into a molded body. Thermogravimetric analysis of a porous body made of PTFE resin having communication holes obtained by extracting the pore-forming material from the body, wherein the PTFE resin and the pore-forming material are mixed in a 1: 1 ratio by volume When the temperature is raised to the molding temperature of the PTFE resin porous body with an apparatus and held for 3 hours, the thermal weight loss rate is 20% by weight or less.
