A method for detecting a single nucleotide polymorphism of DNA for measuring alternating current impedance is provided. (1) On an electrode surface on which probe DNA (S probe DNA) is immobilized, non-immobilized probe DNA (B probe DNA) and target DNA are placed under conditions capable of hybridization and ligation, and then (2) A DNA detection method for measuring an AC impedance on an electrode surface.
