titleOfInvention Cellulose fiber, cellulose staple fiber, twisted yarn, cloth, nonwoven fabric and knitted fabric
abstract The present invention provides a cellulose fiber and a cellulose staple fiber obtained by a new method for producing a lyocell fiber that can be processed into a twisted yarn and a fiber by a simpler method than before. The cellulose fiber and cellulose staple fiber of the present invention are obtained by a production method having the following steps. (A) A step of dissolving a cellulose-containing material in an aqueous tertiary amine oxide to obtain a spinnable cellulose solution, (B) a step of spinning the cellulose solution and passing through an aqueous precipitation bath to obtain a water-containing expanded filament, (C) Crushing the water-containing expanded filaments at different points so that there is an average of at least two crush points per millimeter of filament length, and (D) drying the crushed filaments to obtain cellulosic fibers, the method comprising: The filament is crushed with sufficient pressure so that the crush point remains in the dry fiber and can be seen when viewed under linearly polarized light.
