abstract | Provided are a method and a reagent for measuring cholesterol in a remnant-like lipoprotein in a sample with a simpler operation and with higher sensitivity. [0034] Cholesterol esterase and cholesterol oxidase or cholesterol dehydrogenase are allowed to act on a test sample containing lipoprotein, and the cholesterol in lipoprotein is measured by measuring hydrogen peroxide or reduced coenzyme produced by the enzymatic reaction.
