abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a transflective color filter for a multi-alignment division type vertical alignment mode and a multi-alignment division type vertical alignment mode liquid crystal display device excellent in display quality. SOLUTION: In a colored layer forming step, a plurality of colored layers having a through hole for light transmission are formed in a predetermined pixel pattern on the surface of a transparent substrate, and each transparent layer of each colored layer is formed in a convex layer forming step. A transparent convex layer is formed so as to cover the through-hole for light, a common transparent electrode is formed so as to cover the colored layer and the transparent convex layer in the electrode forming step, and a spacer / projection forming step is performed on the common transparent electrode. The negative photosensitive resin composition is applied to the film, the negative photosensitive resin composition coating film is exposed through a spacer / protrusion forming mask, developed, and a spacer is formed on the transparent convex layer. A protrusion for controlling the alignment direction of the liquid crystal molecules in a plurality of directions is formed on the top. [Selection] Figure 4
