titleOfInvention | Thermoplastic copolymer and process for producing the same |
abstract | Disclosed are a thermoplastic copolymer which is excellent in various physical properties such as heat resistance and mechanical strength and hardly colored, and a method for producing the same. The method for producing a thermoplastic copolymer of the present invention is a method of copolymerizing monomer components including an aromatic vinyl monomer, a vinyl cyanide monomer, and a maleimide monomer. The reactor is charged with at least a part or all of the vinyl cyanide monomer and the copolymerization reaction is started, and when all the monomer components are charged, the unreacted monomer component in the reaction solution The aromatic vinyl monomer is charged after the vinyl cyanide monomer is charged so that the ratio of the aromatic vinyl monomer to 60% by weight or more, or at least the vinyl cyanide monomer is charged in the reactor. After the copolymerization reaction is started by charging a part or all of the monomer, the remaining monomer components are added to the reaction solution, and when all the monomer components are charged, unreacted cyanide is added from the reaction solution. The vinyl chloride monomer is distilled off. [Selection figure] None |
