titleOfInvention Sludge treatment method
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method for treating sludge which can reduce the amount of sludge finally discharged by simply sterilizing sludge and returning it to a water treatment system. In a method for treating sludge in a wastewater treatment facility that biologically treats organic wastewater with activated sludge held in a biological reaction tank 1, hypochlorous acid is added to the surplus sludge generated to obtain surplus. The sludge microorganisms in the sludge E are sterilized or inactivated, and then returned to the biological reaction tank 1 and decomposed by activated sludge. [Selection] Figure 1
