abstract A reactive gas can be uniformly supplied to an electrolyte / electrode assembly with a simple and compact configuration, and desired power generation performance can be ensured. A fuel cell includes a pair of separators that sandwich an electrolyte-electrode assembly. A fuel gas passage 46 is provided along one surface of the separator 28, and an oxidant gas passage 62 is provided along the other surface of the separator 28. A groove portion 54a that communicates with the fuel gas supply communication hole 30 and the fuel gas introduction port 38 is formed on the surface 36b, and a passage lid member 56 that covers the groove portion 54a and forms the fuel gas supply passage 54 is provided.
