Method for producing biological material by perfusion culture of suspended animal cells |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for producing a biological substance by perfusion culture of animal cells suspended in a serum-free cell culture medium. In this case, the biological substance is separated from the cells by filtration and used for cell culture. The medium is characterized in that at least 0.001 w / w% nonionic surfactant is present. It has been found that the presence of nonionic surfactants in cell culture media improves filter performance. |
