abstract |
A method of treating residues from metal chlorination is described, which recovers valuable volatile metal chlorides and metal organo (organometallic) chlorides while reducing low volatility. The metal chloride and chloride complex are reacted with a neutralizing wetting agent. The resulting neutral dry solids are suitable for landfill disposal or for the recovery of valuable metal components by production metallurgy techniques. |
