abstract |
The artificial retina according to the present invention is a self-contained artificial retina in which power is supplied from a photocell that is irradiated only with ambient light in the eyeball. The photovoltaic cell is placed close to the retina. Alternatively, the photovoltaic cell is placed in the anterior chamber of the eyeball. In addition, an artificial retina that can adapt to the brightness can be provided by selecting the number of pixels to which a voltage is applied in the artificial retina based on the power that can be generated from the ambient light. |
