The present application provides a novel human gene RHBDF1 whose expression is markedly elevated in CML and AML compared to normal peripheral blood cells and in lung adenocarcinoma compared to normal lung cells. These genes and the polypeptides encoded by these genes can be used, for example, in the diagnosis of cell proliferative diseases and as target molecules for developing drugs against the diseases. |
