abstract |
The conductive adhesive composition includes a conductive metal having a crosslinkable and adhesive component, a flux, and a surface on which a metal oxide is present. The adhesive component includes an epoxy resin, and the flux includes phenol. The phenol is reactive with the metal oxide on the conductive metal surface and removes the metal oxide at least partially from the conductive metal surface. As a result, the conductivity of the conductive adhesive composition is increased. This composition is particularly useful at the interface between electrical or electronic components, where the composition physically secures certain components and electrically connects them while still producing metal oxides. It works to stop continuously. |
