abstract The present invention relates to a method for preparing a highly active and selective ammoxidation catalyst using a composite metal oxide containing P, V and Mo supported on Ti-PILC, wherein water is present in a hot water bath. A vanadium source is heated with oxalic acid to form vanadyl oxalate; a phosphorus source, a Mo source and Ti-PILC are added, and the resulting mixture is added at a temperature in the range of 110-450 ° C. in the presence of air.
