abstract A plurality of electroporation plates (2) comprising a plurality of electroporation wells (4) or chambers arranged on a solid support to which a voltage can be applied, wherein said plates (2 ) Are associated with plates that can be independently energized. The well includes two or more electrodes (12, 14) disposed therein, and serves as a container in which individual electroporation reactions can take place. Also disclosed is an electroporation system using an electroporation plate (2) according to the present invention. It also relates to the method of using such an electroporation plate (2) and system for optimizing electroporation conditions.
