titleOfInvention | Method for preparing glucose oxidase enzyme having one or more desired properties and glucose oxidase enzyme having desired properties |
abstract | A method for preparing glucose oxidase having peroxide resistance and a glucose oxidase enzyme prepared by the method. This enzyme preparation method results in a glucose oxidase enzyme with improved peroxide resistance and thus improved resistance to oxidative inactivation. This method uses a directed progression method to produce glucose oxidase to achieve the desired properties. Peroxide-tolerant glucose oxidase, for example, extends the lifetime of a glucose biosensor that incorporates peroxide-tolerant glucose oxidase. |
