Trans-5-chloro-2-methyl-2,3,3a, 12b-tetrahydro-1H-dibenz [2,3: 6,7] oxepino [4,5-c] pyrrole or a pharmaceutically acceptable product thereof Sublingual or buccal pharmaceutical compositions comprising the resulting salt and use of said compounds for the manufacture of sublingual or buccal pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of mental disorders such as psychosis and schizophrenia. An aqueous composition comprising a pyrrole compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable water-soluble or water-dispersible carrier material, and optionally pharmaceutically acceptable auxiliaries and excipients, is templated. After which the composition is frozen and preferably lyophilized to sublimate the solvent. Water-soluble or water-dispersible carrier materials are polysaccharides such as hydrolyzed dextran, dextrin, mannitol and alginate or mixtures thereof, the preferred carrier material is gelatin, in particular partially hydrolysed gelatin.
