abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymerized toner characterized by an effective cleaning method for a production apparatus in a toner production process. Toner particles to be emulsified or suspended in a container having a stirring device having at least a stirring blade and a stirring shaft by a shearing force generated by the rotation of the stirring blade of an aqueous medium or an alcohol-based medium. In this production method, after the emulsification or the suspension is discharged, a cleaning liquid is added, and the stirring device is cleaned by cavitation caused by rotating the stirring blade at high speed in the cleaning liquid.
