abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for immobilizing biomolecules linearly with high accuracy on a substrate using a discharge device having a syringe and a nozzle communicating with the syringe. A liquid material containing a biomolecule is accommodated in a syringe, and a predetermined amount of the liquid material is continuously discharged from a nozzle communicating with the syringe by pressurizing the inside of the syringe, so that at least the surface is liquid. A non-absorbable substrate and the nozzle are moved relative to each other and applied and drawn linearly on the substrate, and then dried to immobilize biomolecules. [Selection figure] None
