abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing zirconia fibers having excellent heat resistance and a small fiber diameter. SOLUTION: A step of dissolving a fiber-forming solute in an aqueous solution in which zirconium chloride soluble in water is dissolved, and a step of spinning from an aqueous solution in which the fiber-forming solute is dissolved by electrostatic spinning. An average fiber diameter of 50 to 1000 nm, and a fiber length of 100 μm or more, comprising a step of obtaining a fiber structure accumulated on a collection substrate by spinning and a step of firing the accumulated fiber structure.
