PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace many members conventionally made of glass with resin. However, there are still members that cannot replace glass with resin due to problems of heat resistance and light resistance. An object of this invention is to provide the highly transparent imide resin with favorable light resistance and heat resistance. An imide resin having a specific structure having a (meth) acrylic acid ester and a glutarimide unit is provided.
