When a molten resin is cooled and solidified by being discharged from a die, it is difficult for the molten resin to shrink, and it is possible to prevent unevenness in the lateral direction of the film from occurring, so high quality is required. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a good film suitable for optical applications. In a method for producing a thermoplastic film, the method comprises the steps of fusing a thermoplastic resin and discharging it from a die 24 into a sheet form, and cooling and solidifying the discharged molten resin 12 to form a film. The molten resin discharged from the die 24 is brought into contact with the plurality of cooling drums 26, 28, 30 in order and cooled, and the plurality of cooling drums 26, 28, 30 are located downstream in the moving direction of the thermoplastic film 12. The thermoplastic film 12 is manufactured such that the surface temperature of the cooling drum is equal to or lower than the surface temperature of the upstream cooling drum. [Selection] Figure 4 |
